CIAO 592 was born from a simple idea:
What if Georgetown had a café that combined the bold, rich tradition of Italian espresso culture with the warm, welcoming spirit of Guyanese hospitality? A place where you could grab an authentic espresso on your way to work, or linger over a fresh pastry with friends on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
That dream became reality in 2024, when we opened our doors at 63a Sandy Babb Street in Kitty. Since then, CIAO 592 has become more than just a café—it's a community gathering place, a morning ritual, and for many, a second home.
